Hershberger Editing has been growing since March 2021, but I have been moving towards this goal since I could read and write. From the first crafting of words in stories about a mischievous bunny, to pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature and Cultural Criticism, the immersive power of words became a passion.
When I decided at 22 to move from my native country of Great Britain to South Carolina, USA, I realized the unique perspective I gained on the cultural investment we make with our word choices. We show parts of ourselves to others when we speak and write; we take the deposit of our cumulative learning and experiences and invest them into our readers in a way that we hope resonates with them. I love to partner with writers to create a manuscript or academic piece that exhibits your voice and your passion to your intended audience.
In the time that I spend away from my laptop, I enjoy being outdoors with my husband and three children, exploring and encountering nature in any way I can. I love reading in a wide variety of genres, but I am a total scaredy cat when it comes to thrillers! I have been known to knit, cross-stitch, and crochet. Friends and community are hugely important to me, including the worldwide community. Our family loves to travel and support those who are making an impact in the world.
